March 2000, Midwest Mailing Solutions was incorporated by Steve Cochran in McCook, NE. As a former Pitney Bowes sales representative, Steve had built many business relationships over the course of 20 years across Colorado and Nebraska. Midwest Mailing Solutions was created based on the need for local representation to companies for their mailroom equipment. Throughout the decade, Steve continued to build the business by offering quality products backed by a strong commitment to local customer service. Midwest Mailing Solutions quickly built a strong reputation for providing quality mailroom solutions backed by strong local support.
September 2007, Brian Cochran, Steve’s son incorporated Midwest Mailing Systems in Kearney, NE, based on the same ideals. A partnership with Hasler, Inc., presented an opportunity to provide customers with both equipment and software solutions for any-sized mailroom operation. In 2010, Midwest Mailing Systems was authorized as a dual-branch dealership for both Hasler and Neopost. The addition of the Neopost dealership also pushed Midwest Mailing Systems into new territories now stretching to include parts of Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming and South Dakota.
October 2013, Midwest Mailing Solutions and Midwest Mailing Systems merged and opened their new corporate headquarters in Kearney, NE. The partnership went to market to offer their clients a full line of mailroom and document delivery solutions. As a company, they pushed the envelope to equip clients with equipment and software solutions for posting outgoing mail, folding/inserting documents, addressing envelopes, opening incoming mail and shipping packages.
